RED DAY
Red colour has a variety of significance in different cultures like life, health, war, courage, anger, love and passion.
‘An apple a day keeps the doctor away’, we showed our children, the fruit and related it’s colour to the red day celebration. Apples were cut and given to the children to integrate the concept of ‘Senses’. Teachers discussed the theme in circle time and linked it to all subjects and Angry bird picture were drawn and coloured with red colour. Few children bought red objects from their home and spoke a few sentences about it.
